During this Strategic Foresight & Public Health 3.0 training, participants will receive training to understand the foundational components of Strategic Foresight and learn how to apply the sense-making and/or scenario planning aspects of the methodology in order to monitor current and projected trends (e.g., health, fiscal, social, political, environmental) that may impact population health.

This training aims to help public health practitioners develop new skills needed to advance towards Public Health 3.0. Public Health 3.0 is a modernized framework for public health that emphasizes cross-sector collaboration, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making to address social determinants of health (DeSalvo et al., 2017). This approach moves beyond traditional public health activities to incorporate broader policy, systems, and environmental changes.

This learning opportunity topic is aligned with one or more of the strategic skills.

This learning opportunity addresses training topics identified in PHWINS 2017.
