This online, asynchronous course is designed to provide attendees with an introduction to the concepts of culture, cultural competence, and cultural humility.

This course offers introductions to culture, cultural competence, cultural humility. Also included are resource demonstrations that you can use to help build a more culturally competent and humble workplace. The training is a robust learning opportunity and provides an extensive list of additional resources.

This training is a quick look at cultural competence in the workplace, and is third in a three-course series. The other courses in the series include Serving Diverse Communities: Finding Data on Health Disparities and Serving Diverse Communities: Accessing Reliable Health Information in Multiple Languages

This learning opportunity topic is aligned with one or more of the strategic skills. This learning opportunity addresses training topics identified in PH WINS 2017.
